Over the last few months we have focused on helping our community get hold of their essential items, and have provided a delivery service for those that must self shield or isolate. As lockdown loosens, we must continue to adapt.
Step one
The first step has been to rearrange the shop layout to introduce a one way system that ensures 2 metre social distancing. We have also increased the number of customers in the shop at any one time to at least two (max of three at the discretion of the volunteers on shift). Children under 12 must be accompanied.
Step two
Longer opening hours. The first phase of this is to open from 09:30-4pm Monday to Saturday with immediate effect.
Step three
Hot drinks are available from Monday 13th July. They will be served in a takeaway cup. Customers can enjoy their hot & cold drinks and cold food (for now) on the socially distanced tables outside.
We will be reintroducing hot food and will let you know the planned dates for this as soon as possible.
