Volunteering at the Village Shop

A vital part of the shop’s success are the volunteers who run it and we are always looking to add to our wonderful team. The role is varied – from serving teas and coffees, working behind the till, stocking shelves, to opening and locking up.

Why you should become part of the Wigginton Shop team

As a community shop, we are looking for volunteers across all ages. Whether you have volunteered before or not doesn’t matter as you will be fully trained. You could be looking for a way to get back into work, you may have retired, or be looking for work experience, or simply wanting to give something back to our community. It’s an opportunity for you to work with friends or make new ones, share your valuable skills or learn new ones, or to get out of the house for a few hours.
