The Wigginton Community Shop Limited is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. Cookies – currently none of the content loaded on the wiggintonshop.org.uk web-site generates or uses cookies (a cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that is stored on your browser or the hard drive of your computer if you agree).  If any content added to the web-site in future requires the use of cookies, you will be notified when the home page is loaded and given the option to accept or decline.

  • To administer and manage your membership (for example to invite you to meetings and ensure that our membership records are up to date; to administer our volunteer events). We will manage this on our marketing database Mailchimp, and we will also keep a hard copy and store securely as this is one of the rules of our society.

  • To administer and manage your involvement in the delivery of our services and events, for example in a volunteering capacity. We will keep hard copy records and store them securely, as well as keep you data on our mailing database.

  • To provide you with information that you request from us

  • To carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us

  • To notify you about changes to our services

  • To administer and protect our business and our website

  • To use data analytics to improve our website, products/services and experiences.

5. Disclosure of your information

We may have to share your personal data with others in the following circumstances:

  • to members of our shop team (including officers and volunteers who support our work) for the purposes set out above
