Events

We host a number of community events and supplier tastings.

Coming up next in 2020…

**Due to the unprecedented situation we find ourselves in, all events are cancelled, though we will look to see what virtual events we can provide**

Cuppa with a Copper – To be rescheduled – Our local officer, PC Clark, will be coming in to offer a community drop in where you can come and chat through any concerns you may have, ask any questions and get advice. We are hoping to make this a regular event in the shop.

Past events

Chocolate tasting – Friday 13th March 12-2pm – Yvette’s Chocolates have proven to be a sure fire hit by the response from the instore tastings we’ve had so far. So much so, that we thought it would great for Yvette to come in and talk about her delicious chocolates which have been inspired by her time spent living in Italy and France. Now based in Potten End, her award winning fare has made it on to our shelves! Sure to be a great opportunity to find out more about the quality ingredients she uses – and more important, sample some!

30th January 7-8:30pm –  An evening of Q&A with nutritionist Alice Bradshaw. Want to adopt a healthier diet? Don’t know where to start? To find out more and book your free place here

Summershed Brewery Tasting – 28th November 2019 – Tickets are now launched for a tasting with Simon Crichton, owner of Summershed Brewery based right here in Wigginton. He’ll take you through each of his ales – a proper tasting session with some insight into his journey, and why he chose the names, which are synonymous with the area. It promises to be a fun and informative evening. The ticket price of £10 per person includes each of the ‘tasting’ ales.

Tickets are on sale for the Wine & Chocolate tasting with Bernard Bailey on November 7th 2019 – 7-8:30pm. Tickets are £12 per person and all profits go to the community pot. It promises to be a fun and informative evening!

Join talented baker and nutritionist, Alice Bradshaw on 23rd October 6:30-8pm at the shop for a talk on the debate around the merits of going gluten free and her experience of creating tasty GF food….
